There was a guy I knew that imported a car like that black Valiant, his was blue.
It was like you stated...from the windshield rearward it looked identical to a USA Dart except for the "Valiant" letters on the back. The fenders looked longer and had turn signals on the tops near the headlights...
These are the Cobra twin 1.59" piston calipers, they are aluminum. The wheel clears the dust/grease cap just fine. There is more than 10 threads of the lugs to attach to.
Bigger rotors give more leverage like a longer breaker bar does to crack a bolt loose. AF's book stated that the goal is to...
Oh boy....THAT was mighty respectable of you.
I agree though, I'd feel bad taking advantage of a guy that really didn't know the value....especially if he was a nice person.
Kudos to you, man!
If I remember right, Rick Ehrenberg did a big brake upgrade on the '69 Valiant "Green Brick". He had the big brake on one side and the standard 1973-76 rotor and caliper on the other....and ran it up and slammed on the brakes. The car did NOT pull to the side with the bigger brake. The advantage...
Me too. I spent my entire career getting up early despite a mind and body clock that always wanted to stay up late.
Now that I'm retired, I'm rarely up before 10:00 AM.
Heck yeah, man!
I love seeing the different styles of the Mopars there. The black "Valiant" that looks a LOT like a '69 Dart and what is the green "Duster" here ?
The taillights look unusual. The orange Daytona with the hemi and side mounted blower....Really cool stuff!
Nice '66 Satellite too.
THIS is an excellent idea. The belts in my truck show grunge from years of construction and junkyard crawling. This would be an excellent way to clean them up.
Thank you for the tip, man!
Actually, I rarely ever drink and have not had a sip in at least a year.
I don't like the taste of most drinks but I do enjoy being a bit drunk. When I've been drinking, I get loud, I spout my opinions, I like everyone and I talk too much. I'm a completely different guy.
