Rear Flat Tire Change Roadside Tips

Oooof. I've been there. Hopefully, I fixed that problem.

Post up facts and things that hardly anyone knows...... (for entertainment purposes only. NO need to fact check)

Ignorant Americans use the term cement to describe concrete. It pisses me off every time that I hear them say it. I dropped the bucket on the cement. Oh really? Is it stuck there now? Cement is a glue, a bonding agent don't you know ? In my circle of wood framers, we called dimensionally large...

Rear Flat Tire Change Roadside Tips

I parted out a 2004 Camry and decided to repurpose the scissor jack. (Dwayne's Plymouth is in the background here) I reinforced the pad.... Then using a rubber donut for a pad... No scratches to the underside... Now, I would not use this on any inclined surfaces for risk of the...

Rear Flat Tire Change Roadside Tips

I agree. I carried a small trolley type floor jack for years but then took a scissor jack from a 2004 Camry that I cut up and welded a small pad to it. It weighs 7 lbs and works fine. I used it at the Air Tel in 2024 when a low speed bump knocked my left tailpipe loose from the muffler. For the...

A great car is the star of a new TV show coming in May 2025

The trip to the city (Las Vegas?) did have some cars newer than the show's timeline but I let that slide.

Crappy cars that have become classics.

Driving from the right side of the car would be weird but then trying to shift with my left hand would take weird to the next level.

Hulk Hogan won't be down for breakfast

After Ozzy, I read someone write Holk Hogan is next" as if he were ailing and fading. RIP, Terry.

What rear end came in a 66 Fury III?

The wording above looks like a "cut and paste" job. A Fury 3 most likely would have come with an 8 3/4" axle with either 2.76 or 2.94 gears. I don't think that they ever came with a Dana 60 and I'm pretty sure that the 1966 models never got a 9 1/4" axle.

Are you ready for a real weird one? Random NO spark from a MP electronic ignition system despite numerous parts swapped around...

A few days ago, I checked voltage of the battery. It was 13.06. The car has consistently started and ran normally ever since I replaced the 5 port plug at the ECM. The battery holds a charge and does not seem to drop off like the NAPA battery did. It drops off just sitting on the shelf here. It...

    Will Nissan survive?

Do NOT buy a Rogue. They are chock full of stupid crap. A/T shifter that was not intuitive to operate. The lack of knobs for the HVAC system is crap. A car that automatically UNlocks as you approach it is stupid. What if some attacker were hiding and wanted to JACK the car? Now he has a way in...

    Windshield DIY or Professional?

Oh man….if all my cars were as easy as the 71-74 B and all the E bodies, I’d never need a professional. All my cars use windshield gaskets up front. Those do take some skill and patience. Cars like yours are easier for certain. Good luck.
