If it was I, Borgeson would be the choice. We installed the complete set up in a 64 Dodge station wagon.

My only criticism of the kit is the directions.. in the small block kit it doesn't show where spacers do and they are pretty self explanatory except 1 washer... had to pull the whole pump back out to put in one washer... still not 100% happy with belt alignment but i'm sure it's my fault.

I have the borgeson with the bergman connector. the 11-1 slop is only with the engine off. with pressure it works fine. I dont have to correct the direction all the time like on the sloppy old box.
A recirculating ball steering box will by design never give you the feedback a rack and pinion...
So you removed the box without pulling the manifold first? If so, that might indicate I should reinstall the manifold before trying to get the PS box in. Interesting.

My car is the blue car KernDog posted above. Smaller AC pulley, hydraulic cam, Saginaw PS pump with external pump cooler, less than 500 miles since Borgeson box install and no hissing.
