What color should shift levers be

Hi all I am trying to find out if the shift levers on A833 came in black or were they just steel colored. I am working on getting the drivetrain ready on my 70 Cuda (had to buy 2 to get one thread) while it’s at the body man’s shop. I am just about to put trans in storage and I painted the...

Cooling issues 69 RR 440 at wits end!

First step get a co2 test kit from Amazon to check head gasket for leaks. Second if big block no more then 60 thousands clearance between impeller back side and facia of pump housing. Third you must have minimum 2/3. fan blade in some kind of shroud. Then 1/4 inch clearance max around edge of...

WE BURIED OLD MR. BOBCAT TODAY

Sorry to hear about that. Big ol' mouser toms keep the riff raff out. It's cool when they are comfortable enough to hang out with you and not be 100% wild. Farm cats are different, they choose to be a friend. They don't have to be. Sad when time catches up with them, their rough life usually...

Any old timers recognize this tool?

We had a cabinet that was 4x7 and it was packed (no pun intended) full. Don't remember and probably never paid attention to how much was on a roll but it was a lot lol. All kinds including foil wrapped and graphite impregnated and pretty much all sizes. That cabinet was just for the central shop...

    Silicone Brake Fluid

I agree. The viscosity is related to the "flow" at a given temperature. I just posted that link to see what the "race cars" use. I would thing that if silicone fluid is SOOO good it would be used in extreme applications like circle or road racing. I don't have a lot of personal experiance with...

How about just a random picture. NOT the entire car

In another life, I was into 30's cars, and was able to identify most of them. Just a general interest in all of them. I enjoy watching old movies and trying to identify the cars in them. It is nice to spot a classic big Packard or Duesenberg. The weirdest I spotted was a 1940 Ford station wagon...

Cooling issues 69 RR 440 at wits end!

Whose A/M rad ? I've had some that were useless. On one of my cars I have a Wizard which fits perfectly and the stock shroud fits perfectly. If you desire OEM appearance, spend the $$$ and go Glen-ray. What is your timing set at ? You should have a shroud with the fan halfway into it.

to toss over some things - is the system burped? How is the water pump? View how it is flowing with cap open. Something you do when burping the system. Clutch fan should be better than not, what is the distance of the fan from radiator? Is your motor built up? Bored out?
