When you say swirling around, is it not doing that at idle? Or just at throttle?

Yes, no change. It sounds like the squealing is towards the front as if it's the front carb making the noise.

The line(s) going to the sending unit will be 5/16". Vent tube is more like 3/4". Look under your car. Are there one, or two, "fuel hoses" going to where the sending unit would be (center vehicle, in front of the rear axle)? That will tell you if you need one for, or without, a return line.

I have one of those in my 70 GTX and it fit perfect. You can't even tell it's aluminum from just looking at the top and front. Factory shroud bolted right on.

most of these mopar guys,first thing they do is rip the 383 out out of their cars and spend a fortune building a 440. you should be able to pick and choose a good 383 forged crank base motor for dirt cheap. try posting a Wanted Ad here in the forum.

Is this the metal tabs, in the photo from MEGA Parts, that are welded on top of the valve covers? Does a plastic holder for the wire fit on top of the metal tabs?
