I’m familiar with the 2355 flat top and 2.061 CH. The last build I did used Race Tech pistons but they have the same CH of 2.061. It put my deck height only -.004. That’s pretty close for a closed chamber head unless you use the .054 head gasket. I used Steath heads with an 84cc chamber and I...
From the pictures I see, it has the factory balance job. Most shops use a smaller drill to balance the crank and they are usually not in the same spot as factory. I would rebalance the assembly since it’s got so many unknowns. Don’t use that balancer that on it now and use a neutral flywheel...
Looks like you have some good parts anyway. Finding a 70 hp block that will run at std is rare. That means it did not have many miles on it when retired. But you have an excellent starting point. Those 2266 pistons are for a 69 compression height. That’s why they have those closed chamber heads...
I build lots of engines and I constantly get engines in the shop that are freshly rebuilt that have all kinds of problems. Some are even running in the car with potential problems. I get some pull out like this that are really messed up. I go to extra care on my builds
and only use a very good...
Seats are a tough call. As long as the tracks and springs are not rusty, they sell. I’ve tossed a 70 seat before long ago. I’m not an expert on headrests for sure. Like mentioned shipping is the killer and driving takes time and money. Just advertise it for $500 and be willing to work a deal...
I’m looking to complete a customers set and he’s missing a few parts. I need a baseplate, shaft and blades. I may need a metering block as well. It’s a 500 cfm carb. Pm me.

Yep they are out there and a lot are owned by people who will never touch them or sell them. I drove my 1970 Charger RT to a friends house the other day. I’m the second owner. The original owner kept inside his garage until 2004, when I bought it. I paid top dollar at the time. It. Looks very...
Thanks to Kerndog for the diagram. I finally had time to wire up a new five pin relay and it works fine now. It was doing crazy things. I could make the headlight doors open and close with the dimmer switch and headlights off. It had to be a bleed back issue. I just did not want to put resistors...
They did in their shop in Fl but closed it down with no warning. You may have to go to a local ac shop in your area and see if they can do it. I had pretty good lines for my 70 Charger and I cleaned them up myself. I flushed the inside and bead blasted the outside and painted them. I restored my...
Hey guys, I’m resurrecting this old thread because I’ve got problems with 70 Charger as well. Using all the stock bulbs and relays with the original headlight motor restored, everything worked fine. You just could not see at night! Lol. I did have wiring problems with my new M and H harness...
Hmm. That’s news to me. I’ve bought something from him but can’t recall what it was at the moment. It was not an idle solenoid. His repops are not the ones I was referring too. Years ago, Dales Cuda shop made some repops and they were terrible. Hardly any of them worked. They were foreign made...
I could not reply to your pm for some reason but I found a post from July 7 and gave a response. Sounds to me like it’s working. None of them can overcome the carb springs. The repops can’t even hold any resistance.
