A Mopar powered race vehicle drives ON water

Our annual Formula Off-Road championship has started here in Iceland. In the first event the competitors had to drive down a river. With enough power the jeeps can do it without sinking to the bottom. Here is a Hellcat engine powered jeep doing this amazing stunt. Ragnar in Iceland

    Formula Off-Road!

For decades, Icelanders have been competing in Formula Off -Road; a series of races where the competitors on V-8 4x4´s tackle very steep hills as well as drive floating on water. Points are awarded for driving within the prescribed tracks (usually about 6 tracks pr. race) as well as how far...

You know anything about this Coronet´s history?

The VIN and fender decal clearly show it as a factory 273. There were some heavy duty manual labour tools in the trunk as well as a towel with initials that could have belonged to a railroad company. Something for those who correctly claim that this version of a 273 was not a powerhouse...

You know anything about this Coronet´s history?

I bought this ´67 500 in 2015, from a towing company in Upper Darby PA, just west of Philadelphia. They had acquired the car as "abandoned vehicle" at an auction. They only knew that the car had resided close by in Springfield PA. She has a 273 with an automatic. Stuff I found in the trunk...

    Operation: Chocolate Thunder

Your driving experience, suggests to me that the lower control arm bushings might be the culprit. You should change them regardless while you are overhauling. Ragnar in Iceland

Thanks for asking. My best e.t. on regular tires (Firestone Firehawk 500) is 11.63 @117 mph. Car has a mellow 451 stroker and a 4.10:1 SG. Charger was imported new to Iceland. I´ve owned her since 1979.

    Hellcat rollover (video)

Hi folks, For decades, Icelanders have competed in a unique off road competition. 4x4 heavily modified vehicles compete by challenging steep, almost vertical hills and get points for staying within the track marked as well as how fast they finish the runs. There might be like 6-8 different...

Where do we stand with Moparts?

I have been buying auto parts from the U.S. since 1980 (yeah, before the internet), bought 250+ parts from the U.S. via Ebay (two vehicles among that) as well as countless number of business transactions directly from private companies in the auto aftermarket business, so I think I can qualify...
