Unfortunately I never met the owner himself, but I have heard of him. His name is Mr. Breedlove, the car has (or maybe used to by now) 10,000 miles on it.
Thanks made more sense once I was able to get the car in the air see how it laid out f for some reason I was thinking they went between the rad and core support . Thanks again
Tractor Supply sells them here. They come with the push vent. Bought several of them for my jugs because my mower has the fuel cap in the middle of the hood. What fricken idiot thought that was a good idea.
Probably the same thing that killed my old XJ - a weak injector. A partial shot of fuel doesn't wait until the plug fires; it's "lean" and will detonate. Detonation as the piston comes up, is the rattle you hear...and it equates to smacking the top of the piston with a sledgehammer, every time...
I have heard of guys using one of these to mount their fan. It will eliminate the clutch all together letting you know if it is the problem. Might not be what you want with a/c.
Pardon Our Interruption...
Trovit=scam.
Before I got my 67 wagon, there was a 64 Plymouth, 383/4spd w a/c, disc's. Done car, drive it away. Beautiful in the pics, $17k and about 5 hours away from me per the ad. Turns out it was in NJ and being sold through a 3rd party brokerage. No thanks!
