Rear Flat Tire Change Roadside Tips

I carry a scissor jack from an early-80's LeBaron. It ain't factory, but it has pentastar on it! Never had to use it on the roadside yet (thankfully).

FOR SALE 71-4 b body parts @mopar nats

Mornin' Charlie. I know the list I have will get bigger, but I'll need a decent front bumper and a passenger-side engine bay splash shield. What number is your booth?

I don't have to run PREMIUM fuel anymore !

All this talk of Electronic Knock Alert and mile-dial devices... too complicated for this dumb Appalachian hilljack. Since I'm not towing anything, and I'm not looking to pull 9-second passes, I'll just stick to non-ethanol fuels, and enjoy my cars. But for those in need, I hope all these...

I don't have to run PREMIUM fuel anymore !

Agreed. The bigger factor for me is non-ethanol. I too have been using the 91 n-a, but have been adding an octane boost from VP Racing. The 340 may not actually need it, but the stroker I'm building probably will.

    73 Charger - Vapor Separator?

Well, my search for a decent vapor separator crapped out. So, I opted for putting a 68-70 style venting system on the Charger. I just had to punch a hole on the trunk floor... for the tube to vent into the frame rail. I'll tie two of the tank nipples into this system, and the other two into...

FOUND Gas vent tube grommet 1968-71

These are relatively cheap, but aftermarket companies want a day's wages to ship them. Does any have a couple of these gas vent tube grommets floating around? 68-71 B bodies, and I believe the E bodies use them too. Thanks.

    Where did you grow up?

Punxsutawney, PA... yeah, home of the groundhog. Great little town, at the time (1973-1993). I can't imagine a better place to grow up. I just went back last weekend, after about twelve years away. Man, things have changed! We went from about eight elementary schools down to one, and the Jr...

Yeah, when I first called him it was the same way. If he's engrossed in his work, he won't answer... I like that actually. He's good at returning phone calls.

Is a 3.19" center bore too big on a steel rim?

These rims do take a 60-degree lug, so hopefully they center just fine... for rear wheels that'll be getting about 500 hp.

Is a 3.19" center bore too big on a steel rim?

I'm looking at a set of steelies on Summit's site. Their computer-generated compatibility tool says they are not compatible with a '73 Charger. They're 15x8 with a 4.5" BS, so I'm assuming the center bore is the deciding factor. Will the bigger bore matter? If so, would hub rings make...
