1968 Dodge Charger Fuel Sending Unit

Hard lines should still be there. One small hard line running to the engine = no return. Two hard lines = yes return. They look like brake lines. The vent line doesn't go to chassis at all, only from the filler neck to the tank.

    So who's into tractors

My first memory is of Dad's Ford 8 or 9N tractor being delivered on a flatbed truck. I would have been 3 at the time. This replaced Grand Dad's 2 horses on the farm. Dad later had a 1954 Ferguson 2085 on our 100 acre general farm, and still later, a 1964 John Deere 1010. The 35 h.p. J.D. ran our...

    Flat Orange General Lee? Opinions.

Yeah I know, to me Chrysler F'ed up on that decision as well as covering up the door scallops with the R/T scoop. So I can't see anyone removing a Go wing if their car came from the factory that way. I might be the only one to do so by buying another deck lid w/o spoiler holes on it and keeping...

    So who's into tractors

I grew up on tractors. Red IH’s and yellow MM’s. When I make the time I need to finish the overhaul of my late father’s MM G-1000 Vista, then a tune-up on the 4-star. Then I need to split the U-302 super I got from uncle Jack. I spin uncle Don’s Silver King every time I see it.

    Understanding Thermostat Temps

Yes, in that helps resist hot spots internally that boil the water reducing heat transfer if the cap maintains pressure properly. Not sure it that was a problem that a new cap corrected.

My wife said I skipped town.....

That's a great song! It describes the early years of my marriage perfectly! The Chargervert is named Sara because that's who the wife thought the other woman was while I was building the car! The other woman was the car!

Awesome Carlisle trip and a real surprise.

My apologies for my late response here, but congratulations on your very well deserved 1st place Berkeley! Your car is definitely worthy of it from pictures I seen. I hope you got “the hell outta Dodge” (with pun intended) before the rain started to come down with that big dark cloud behind you...
