Where are you from Youngstown area? I'm just across the line in PA on I-80. Would be interested in the hood if you can hold till after the holidays. Send me a pm, and we can work it out.
64SF, I bought the EXPRESS kit, but it is still patiently waiting in the box. I know that new replacement bulkhead connectors are available, but to me that is a weak point that is not needed, plus you would have to cut all of the wires going through. Because I didn't think to weld a patch over...
I have a Ron Francis kit for my 67 Sat too that I haven't put in yet. Are you going to use the stock bulkhead connector? If not, what is your plan to cover the hole in the firewall?
Yeah, we had a good weekend, won the tti exhaust system raffle!! I was really suprised that there was alot less swap meet stuff and vendors, and at least half pulled out Sat eve.
Would have liked to meet, will sometime. What racecar are you running?
Charlie...
We are at the end of Kiwanis Rd. past the park, I-80 E to 376 S ramp behind our place. Will be in an old Allegro motorhome along the track(spectator side), stop by, would like to meet.
Yes, vent tube is in new tank, and connects with rubber elbow to vent tube . I put a new tank in my 67 Satellite and wondered the same thing till the new tank came.
getting ready to install a complete ron francis harness in my 67 satellite. anybody done this, any hints, what do you do with the bulkhead hole? my old harness is cut up and brittle, and the whole car has been redone, so I figured this is the way to go.
I'm putting a 3:55 SG 489 center section in my '67 Satellite, and the axle bearings need replaced. Any body have good or bad to say about green snap ring retained axle bearings? Thanks!!
