Christmas Gift Exchange for a Lincoln Mark IV

Our family was Mopar all the way however when the 75' Imperial was the last, my father traded the 75' for a 79 Lincoln Town Car Williamsburg Edition which was won by some lady in a lottery apparently, and I guess traded it for something else. I ended up buying the 75' Imperial back and drove...

Watched Blazing Saddles for about the 8th time last night....

It maybe was funnier at a younger age, however I would say more appreciated today because we could laugh at ourselves back then. We're not perfect, but I think we got along better then than we do now with all the politics the way it is today. I miss those days.

    Oh hell...

My ears are bad, however that sounds more like a rattling (loose timing chain) than a knock to me.

    Fire Truck Friday

Can't imagine the cost and time needed to restore fire trucks. Great to have diversity in our hobby.

Poly stroker fresh build mileage query

That's 13 miles to the US gallon. That seems steep. There are RPM calculators online to see if anything funny there. I personally don't have any experience with 3:23 rear diffs. Maybe a 4bbl carb and some experimental tuning would help?

    Anyone know what this is???

I'll bite. Looks like seat belts, there's a cover that goes over the engine like a van, remote cooling system, shadow on the air cleaner looks a confined space but then why the seat belts? Something where the motor protrudes into what looks like a cabin. Admit, at a loss. I'll settle for a...

FOR SALE Holley Hi Tek 64280 air cleaner filter base.

Sorry, not a Mopar part and this is a long shot. I am seeking four base plates for the filter. Holley sells right and left side filter cover plates and will make a phone call for the base plates. I purchased these from a fellow not realizing the bases were not original. Suspect revised for...

Little holes in the floorboard, repair or replace?

I have used this product (or similiar from Devcon)for patching inside rear fender wells. Extremely strong and durable. Its not in a support area mind you, however given its strength, if it were me, I wouldn't hesitate for the pinholes.

I believe it is against regulations here in Manitoba, Canada as well. Not sure if its strap or chain.

Can you top my 8-Track collection?

Ok, all these posts peeked my interest. My experience was brief in the 8-track experience while growing up as I started driving in 78' and there were family cars that had the 8 track with seemingly no issues that I can remember. However, I now own a 78' Lincoln and 73' Imperial, both with...
