    Most of that undercoating I believe was applied at the dealership back in 1968. I'm not sure if any of these cars were undercoated at the factory. I am just touching up what I can with the spray on undercoating from a can.

    It could have been. The owner daily drove this car since new until the mid-eighties. We are (unfortunately) in Illinois, so the salted roads really took effect. Between the undercoating and the oil leaks, most of the floor was in great shape...lol

    I guess it is close, but not 100%. The owner of the car (original owner that ordered it) wants it to be a very nice driver as it will be used, not parked. To be honest, it could benefit from new trim and molding, vent windows (chrome pitting), etc, but they don't want to drop $100k to do it just...

    Block and heads cleaned up, new freeze plugs installed, painted, and start of reassembly. I don't want to bore everyone with every detail, so I will just show some before and after pictures....

    1968 Charger Door Lock Rod

    Anyone else know exactly which clips I need to hold the door lock rod to the lever? From what I have seen in my search on here, it apperas many people have used a 5/32 throttle rod clip. Any thoughts?
