    Modifying stock fuel sending unit for FI pump.

    Has anyone modified their stock Fuel sending unit to mount the FI fuel pump in the tank? I am thinking of cutting the pick up tube and putting pump in it's place for my Charger, just wondering if any one has tried, failed, did it?? Is this a stupid idea? Thanks
