    1968 Plymouth GTX

Decided to lightly media blast the block to give it a more consistent surface texture for the Epoxy Primer. Taped off all machined and bearing surfaces. Then rotated block will spraying with compressed air to remove all media. Wiped down the cylinders and bearing surfaces to remove any dust.

    1963 Polara Transmission Problems

My 60 Dart push button trans does not have a park gear. I noticed when I rev the engine in neutral, it seems to always act like it wants to go forward. I always wondered if it was not properly adjusted. Probably just the nature of it without the park gear.

    Overheating issue

Pull the radiator and have a radiator shop clean it out. Fan shroud is also a big help. Put a spring in that lower hose to prevent collapse. and get a FlowKooler water pump with hi flow 180 thermostat. .

If the breathers had that much debris in them. I would buy new breathers and replace them. That may even be some debris from them deteriorating internally. You don't want that going in your engine.

Vapor-Locking... the bane of my existence.

Walla Walla?!? I was down there last year. Small world indeed. And I have been to North Carolina. My wife has relatives up in Ashville. We went leaf peeping last time we were in town a few years ago. Beautyful area.
