Just watch Ebay, I'm sure you can find what you are looking for from a reputable shop. The goods ones offer global shipping. You don't need it right away so be patient. Muscle car season is fast approaching. Engine builders will be turning out fresh engines.
Getting it to you is the easy part. Rebuilt, original, short block, aluminum heads, carb to oil pan. All these are questions you need to answer. You can get a quick price check on what you want by going to Ebay or another website that sells engines depending on what you are looking for and how...
You guys are way out of my league and desire for aftermarket engine mods. I just want a replacement carb for my OEM 67 GTX 440 4spd. Original everything. I tried having my original rebuilt, even called Summit and they recommended the CARB Shop back east. $300 later, my carb idles with the...
I have an stock, restored, 67 GTX, 440 with 4 speed. Been to the Mopar Nationals in Ohio. If your looking for tech questions or about parts and pieces, let me know and maybe I can send a picture or two.
FL: I took the listing down because I don't know how to proceed. The unit I have came off a 368 Lincoln/Merc so I have a
vertex Mag, tach drive fuel pump, valley pan, and custom risers all for a 368. If I sell the FI unit, trying to find a buyer for the 368 stuff would be impossible.
Also in...
Yup, that's right, real deal FI unit casting #303-0-8. 1956-57 engines. Also fits 368CI Lincoln/Merc. Same unit used on Merc Mermaid and Ford Battlebird. I have other old speed pieces that fit the 368.
M 67 GTX placed at the 2012 Mopar Nationals. I only have one piece of advice that you may not have heard. When any part of your restoration starts to "get to you", STOP. Take a break, whether it be an hour, a day, a week, or more. You cannot grow to hate your project. If you do ,it will haunt...
Try SEARCHTEMPEST for your vehicle and parts search. It scours the country and can give you a great idea as to market prices. Classiccars and auto trader usually are cars already done or boogered up.
Maybe, this car was judged the 2012 Mopar Nationals in Ohio and got a silver. One of 5 that made it. Most of the "dings" have been corrected. They take off your wheels and check for OEM brake parts. They take off your tail light bulbs and check for OEM. The aftermarket floor mats were left in on...
I previously installed a new turn signal switch. Like previous posts, my repop assembly doesn't have original colored wires. I guess it's a likely possibility that the manufacturer crossed two wires in the harness. A good place to start, thanks. My OEM restored GTX deserves an original...
Now that you guys solved one problem, try this one. I press the brake pedal on my 67 GTX and the right front turn signal comes on instead of the r/r? Turn signals still work from the column.
