That new link works great, with that info the tag is esay to decode,
383 4-bbl 'golden comando' Duel exhaust, 4 speed with hurst shifter, heavy duty shocks, clock, am radio, bumper guards, black interior with bucket seats, ruby red mono tone paint, 3.23 axel ratio.

Still confussed over the engine, from what I see the 64' 383 4-bbl is code 005 http://papentastars.tripod.com/id21.html
Got a chance to get a more detailed breakdown of the fender tag.

G=1
J=5
M=6
N=3

Confused on how it works, I understand the number under the letter idicates an option from that group, but not sure how you got 06 under the AB to be a...
Thanks 69coronetrt, your info sounds better than mine, I thought the 15 on the second line was the engine. The block casting number puts it at a early 60's 383 anyway to check if the block matches the body?
Thanks for the info, been able to find out, the cars was a factory 413 street wedge with a torqueflite and heavy duty suspension, monotone paint in Ruby red.
Hey Guys and Gals
Trying to decode the vin and fender tag on my 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury and keep running into some snags.
First snag I can't find the VIN tag.
The registration says the VIN is 3441xxxxxx (last 6 sequance numbers x'd out for safety)
From this I get:
(3) Plymouth V8...
I found a spot where mine fit, basically the same spot davids are, but mine are not as long and do not go as far down. I don't have the factory holes, but on one side I can feel what I think is an old hole filled over within 1/4" of where I would put the new hole, either that or it's a spot weld!
Plan on putting them on my Fury, sorry not selling them! Hope they give you the info you need, if you need me to measure the bolt hole spacing let me know!

Hi Guys and Gals!
Been having issues with the kickdown in my 64" Fury, in a nut shell it shifts real late on the hi-way.

While installing I noticed two things which I did...
Well I ordered a kit from Mancini Racing, On their web site it look identical to that offered on the Bouchillon site, same pictures and everything, same price, same shipping times etc!.
It came in the mail today and while the parts all have a Mancini Racing sticker on them, the throttle...
Not wanting to hi-jack another thread http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/showthread.php?t=7843 I started this one in hopes to make some progress on my 64'
Think I just figured out why my car dosn't kick down, the cables are hooked up a** backwards, the picture below is the set up I have...
The adaptor I'm thinking of is Edlebrock part #1481 http://store.edelbrock.com/search.aspx?find=1481
From the info here, and on the Lokar site to fully convert my car over I should need the following
KDP-2727HT (kickdown cable kit)
TC-1000HT (Throttle cable)
SRk-4000 (bracket and spring...
