We will help keep you motivated and moving. Likely Barry and I will come down every so often and snatch a few parts to go through them and get them ready to put back on the car.
We got skills!
And can probably find seats for you too
Ready to help!
This appears to be a newly restored dash from Instrument Specialties. So I am assuming that the Heat and Temp slide knobs are chrome center. I am also going to assume that there is a black paint line dividing the chrome Instrument Cluster Bezel. am I correct?
I’m putting this 400 from a ‘77 Doba in my Duster and I don’t need the a/c,p/s, exhaust manifolds or HO alternator.
Crank and WP pulleys for big block a/c and p/s $65 for the set.
A/C brackets- $65 for everything including compressor if you want it.
P/S- pump and brackets- $50

One of the '65's slipped through with an aluminum dash. I think it was the "Color Me Gone" car. The front fenders were modified, but not to the extent of the 10/15 cars of course.
Y'all should see the factory memo for the '64 2% cars, it is madness and confusing all at once.

I doubt the '65 2%r's had an aluminum dash, they were assembled with all the parts that were on the 10/15 cars, except for the obvious front fenders, although even the 2% were still made of glass. And then immediately converted after Pomona
I didn't read about adding weight but have been known to remove some one area of the car to another....other than that, I never added weight anywhere!!!
I grew up on a poor a$$ farm in Montana. When I was a kid I really liked running the tractors, we had 2 old Allis Chalmers units, I guess they kinda imprinted on me. Now I have 4 Allis Chalmers and 1 International 300 utility. I bought them all cheap in broken non running condition. I use...
Pesky work is always getting in the way. But without it I can't afford to work on the car, what a conundrum haha. I am very excited to get it back into the assembly phase, that is where I am much more comfortable. I did a full teardown and refurb of the engine bay on my '59 Chevy and it was...
for those who don't know....... Rich and I are about 3 miles apart. I always knew he was there as I would spot a Mopar in the yard from time to time. We finally met 2 years ago.
The first time I walked into his garage, I saw that! :eek::drinks:
