    HP stamping

I’m looking at a 70 block that’s supposed to be a HP block. The stamping looks funny, didn’t look straight for some reason, can someone get me a picture of a correct one? I won’t be going back up to the guys house for two weeks but I’d like to have a pic to compare. TIA

Where to buy the heavy plastic door liner that was inside my door panels

Does your door panel hang over the carpet? Water will siphon down behind the panel onto the carpet. It’s a real simple thing to install for piece of mind.

Flat tappet lifters, wear patterns, cam lobe taper and other things. Let's swap opinions and ideas.

Flat tappet lifters, wear patterns, cam lobe taper and other things. Let's swap opinions and ideas.

Remember turning the OIL PUMP, because of the teeth direction, this forces the cam back into the engine, like setting your feet to push anything. No button is needed unless you’re using a roller cam because the angle on lobe and lifter of a flat tappet moves it backward too but not as much as...

    Quarter panel to do

Yes I’ll use that as a guide. Might have to use the 64 post part since the 63 has a different stricker attachment for latch. The 64 piece has a couple rust outs so it’ll have to be patched, no biggy. I’ll make patterns of door opening before any cutting (jam to jam) with a lot of test fitting...

The cam I’m sending is a Lunati, maybe 25 years old. But still never installed.

    Quarter panel to do

Yes, the guy I got them from cut the post part out to make his 63 hardtop into a post car. I can either cut the complete post part out of one of two post cars I have (has rust holes) or take the top of post and piece it back in. Still debating on that.

I’m sending a solid Hemi cam to have it ground for hydraulic lifters. I’ll ask if he grinds the lobes on same angle as the mopar lifters. Might send an NOS lifter with cam. Oregon Cams
