I've want to have my Charger repainted and I need some interior work done
Car is a rust free good driver and needs no major body or mechanical work
Distance limit is about 500 miles from Tucson would work
Work must be quality
Thanks
Frank
I just encountered my first problem.......
keeping my hands off it when I need to be working on something else.
must.......resist......the temptation
Lol. You didn't read and understand my post, obviously. If it has a DOT number on it, it's street legal. I run street legal classes and those tires conform. Slicks do not have a dot number.
Guy at the solid waste site found it in a pile that someone threw out. He set it aside and asked me if I wanted it when we came through. It's expensive new but it works like new. Hard to believe someone tossing it out.
So for everyone who chimed in and provided some advice I want to thank you. I was able to get the bike components repainted. Its not perfect but its perfect enough.
I got the cam from Bob Karakashian. Really nice guy! Told him how I was building the engine and he said, "Yep, I'll get you a cam that will idle super smooth and have more torque and horsepower than almost any other cam out there." At twice the price... But, he doesn't give out any cam specs...
It seems that it is exactly as instructed. The plate is labeled in crankshaft degrees. Not distributor degrees. With your 14* intial you would want a slot for 20* to get your total 34. Looks like you’re going to have to bump initial to 16 and use the 18 slot to get your total 34*
I recall seeing a thread somewhere, but can’t find it after a search indicating that a certain Ford rocker panel clip will fit in 1970 GTX or sport satellite rocker molding. Does anybody recall this and if so, what Ford clip was that?
thanks MF
I was really tempted to use the Eastwood stuff as I want to do as much work as possible myself. But, a few things got farmed out. I hope yours stay looking great!
