Crappy cars that have become classics.

I would love to have a Smokey and The Bandit Trans Am. With all the gold pinstriping. Easy enough to make it fast. Remember we have the '81 Camaro BumbleBee replica. It gets so many positive comments, I think because everybody knows what a Camaro is. It's a real POS but so was the movie car...

The Prince of Darkness won't be down for breakfast

Babylon Bee had an article about Ozzy telling St.Peter he was just kidding about the whole Satanist thing.

Crappy cars that have become classics.

I like 3rd Gen Corvettes but everyone I've owned was a rattle trap. Even our '71 Challenger is very rough and full of rattles. I wonder how much better they were when new. But more to my point what cars were pretty awful when new and have gained collector status?

A second heavy blanket on the bed tonight.

49 degrees at 8:00. Highs in the low 70's for a few days. I love it.

Do you have any weird first names in your family?

My dad's name was Carroll, like Shelby but it doesn't stop there. I had an aunt Lolorene uncle Ora one on side. The Norwegian side gets weirder. Mom is Haldis. Aunts; Ingrid, Ingaborg, Gunnborg, Agnes. Uncles; Gjermond, and Jon. Grandparents; Mikkel and Ingrid then Charles and Cora...

WE BURIED OLD MR. BOBCAT TODAY

Bobcat looked like this bobcat with but with a thicker build and a much heavier neck. Long tail not bobbed. Maybe he was a hybrid.

WE BURIED OLD MR. BOBCAT TODAY

I had to bury The Bobcat today. He was a huge male cat that looked like he swallowed a grapefruit his neck was so thick with muscles. Fighting scars all over him. If Bobcat was in the mood you could scratch his forehead, then he would bite you if you quit. He just came in from his nightly...

    Some back porch pics.

The wildlife people cautioned against doing things like kids being bent over playing in a sandbox. One day Grandma is going to get it out tending her flower bed. At 95 I don't think she can put up much of a fight.

    Some back porch pics.

No, but we did in May. I don't check it that often. It had 10,000 pictures on it. I just checked the camera memory card to see if the bear was on it. I toss some dry dog food out on the porch for the Magpies. So 9,000 pictures were of Magpies and Stellar Jays. I had some dried out chicken...

    Not the official weather thread.....

Dang! The high today was 72. With a nice breeze it felt even cooler. Low of 52 tonight. Little warmer coming, highs in the upper 70's.

    Some back porch pics.

Too many raccoons to count. The fox was posing. The coyote wants inside. We had our big trash bin tipped and the trash scattered. Probably another bear. I have one more camera to check.

I remember as a kid, I asked my dad why cops used Mopars.

It seemed like all the cop shows like Adam 12 the cops drove Plymouths and some Dodges. I've been interesed in cars my whole life. I don't really remember his answer but I don't think it convinced me. Were Mopars cheaper in the day than similar sized Chevys and Fords? Did municipal budgets...

    SKIN CANCER IS NASTY STUFF

As I've said before, at this elevation a sunny day in the winter can feel warm and a cloudy day in the summer can be chilly. NOBODY attends a car show here without one of those portable fold-up canopies.

    SKIN CANCER IS NASTY STUFF

I had a 3rd surgery this morning. One on my forehead about a year ago, then one one my nose a week ago, then on my chest today. They just looked like small zits that never went away. The amount of skin they take away is surprising though. On my face they would cut, then examine the edges of...

The Canadian Chevelle in Pet Semetary: Bloodlines.

The misspelling is on purpose related to Stephen King's book. The movie I'm watching now is a prequel. Not that great but the hero drives a Beaumont the Canadian version of a 68-69 Chevelle. I've read about them but never seen one in a movie. It's rockin' Pontiac Rallyes. .

Cars that are still doing well in a soft market. Mopar leads the way.

Wow, talk about bitchin' over anything you can find to bitch about! I'm bringing good news about Mopars in YES a softening classic car market. If you don't care about prices, don't read the post. Some people's constant negative atitude is shocking. I would hate to go through life like that!!!!

Do you remember movies with overtures and intermissions?

Richard, I bought my son the two record set of the London Symphony Orchestra recording all the songs from Tommy. I loved that as a young man. Mostly featuring different singers than the movie. Absolute F-ing Fantastic! I saw The Who do most of the songs in KC. I promise, this will knock your...
