Another one with a 71 Spoiler and Plymouth decal on the 1/4s
Very nice! When I did mine in 98 I had not seen another with that combo.
Years later I saw one with a Plymouth decal with 70 Spoiler, but yours might
be the first one I have seen with the same combo I have.. I like it!
I have also...
Lol, yes, that is my video :icon_thumright:
And thanks everyone. I got her in 98. sold her a few years later. Then had a chance to get her back 5-6 years ago or so.. She can never leave again
Next up is a disk brake conversion for the rear
The dash insert is black, painted the same as the gauge bezel. It's got a glare on it in the photo, but it matches.
I will have to look at home to see if I have any photos of the backside of cluster.. I think I might, but not sure.
And yes, you probably do.. lol
I decided to give the interior a little different feel, so I decided to go black instead of woodgrain. I picked up a spare bezel and stuff off Ebay so that I could keep my originals.. I got a carbon fiber pistol grip, replaced the woodgrain decal on the console with black decal, and picked up...
My 74 Roadrunner.. Started out as a dark moonstone metallic brown stripe delete car, with a tan interior.. It is a 400 4-speed car.
It was painted Panther Pink, then Petty Blue before I got it. Now it has a 383, (original engine was long gone before I got it)
it has 3.91s in an 8-3/4 rear...
I know the original post is about Chargers, but since some have mentioned Plymouths, I agree what someone said about them looking long.
I found that swapping out my RR 1/4 windows with ones that roll down from a Satellite, removing the bumper guards, and adding a
Plymouth decal to that...
I usually run Speed Pro's in my small block Chevys, but in this car the Stealth Heads are listed as 80CC chambers, and the Speed Pro's are showing 8.94 with an 88cc and 9.77 with a 78.5cc. KB shows 11.6 with a 72cc, 10.6 with an 80cc, and 10 with an 85cc.
I would like to get close to 10.5...
Ya, I have made that mistake in the past, that's why I am asking for advice with this one, it's already been apart twice, I don't want to do it again after this time, lol
Ok, Right now I have a 74 RoadRunner, it is a 4 speed car, and has an 8-3/4 rear with 3.91s..
Current combo is a 383, crappy pistons way down in the hole (they are old TRWs I believe that were new in the early 90s) it is fuel injected, Edelbrock RPM intake, XE268 cam, MSD6AL, 440 Source...
