    I did something very similar to my 72 Charger. You'll want the long/er tail shaft for the 727. While the trans mount is different in the 71/72 from earlier models, it's the same mounting point. Lastly, your drive shaft will potentially be the wrong length.

    Only two production LA 318 engines had anywhere near 9.5:1 compression. The 67-69 was advertised as 9.2:1. I have not seen one blueprinted stock as such. Not saying it won't. ...and the 84-ish-91 LA roller, also advertised as 9.2:1. I have seen at least one of those (on FABO) blueprinted stock...

    a 15 factory slot will only give you 30 crank degrees maximum, the plate will not add to that just limit it.

    What would you do to these windshield channel corners?

    I get all the original lead off the car and weld the joints solid. It is in the cowl ends/lower window channels, top of the A pillars, quarter to roof C pillar, and rocker to quarter joint.
