THIS is an excellent idea. The belts in my truck show grunge from years of construction and junkyard crawling. This would be an excellent way to clean them up.
Thank you for the tip, man!
Actually, I rarely ever drink and have not had a sip in at least a year.
I don't like the taste of most drinks but I do enjoy being a bit drunk. When I've been drinking, I get loud, I spout my opinions, I like everyone and I talk too much. I'm a completely different guy.
Mopars and Mimosas ? Who is with me ??
Some people aren't coffee drinkers....
Others like me don't like to get up early....How about a non judged show-and-shine that starts around 11:00 with booze shacks set up for those that wish to imbibe ?
This might bring in the chicks !
C clips and differential pins are a common design used by many automakers. The Chevys are the ones known for losing the C clips and having the axle shafts slide out without warning.
Why are Mopars less likely to have this happen? Do our cars have a closer tolerance at the axle shaft to...
Ideally, I'd want a dished since it would be a longer stroke build. I'd rather have it at 9 to 1 than 10 to 1 and maybe need to run premium fuel (or higher) all the time. I would only do this if I could do it at a reasonable cost. If it were really a matter of $1600 for pistons, I'd dial it...
How do you arrive at $1600 for a set of pistons?
I have the 440 rods. I have the crank. This is a combination that has been done many times before.
If true, this is a really weird thing.
Yes, I did look at the old plug and by itself, it looked fine. When compared to one that had never been used, it was apparent that the female terminals were not as tight.
Being the junkyard dog that I am at heart, I'd be tempted to use the turned down crank that I have and just buy pistons for it.
Who knows though. This is all very fluid, very flexible. I've made no decisions yet, I've bought no parts. The crank was FREE to me but it got my wheels spinning about...
That was more than corrosion. I think that was from attaching and removing it so many times over the years. The terminals in the plug were wobbled out.
I repainted the engine bay twice, relocated the ECM a couple of times and tried a few different ECMs over the years.
This is just a guess but I...
Are you certain of that?
Commas are often a subjective piece of punctuation that are subject to opinions in terms of correctness, rather than rule.
A question mark belongs at the end of a question. THAT is a rule.
