I'm pretty sure he meant to use the Charger decoder for the fender tag. I had the door post tag decoded, although I did plug in the numbers just to see if it verified it. Thanks.
So according to the Charger site, a "9" under the D = front disc brakes. Is it safe to assume that the "8" would be for drum brakes? Also, under the Y in the middle row, it looks like a sideways "A" punched through the metal. Any ideas about that?
No luck with any build sheets Fran..picked clean. Although I did find the black tags under the seats. Is there any significance to those? Are those just code for the seats?
The original 318 is long gone from this one. I've met the past two owners of this car, most recent one had it a year or so, and his buddy had it nearly 10 years. He made it sound like he was at least the 3rd owner of the car. It's got a 440 out of a 74 rv now. If the certicard that came with...
Yeah, so 629 would be June 29. Sounds like yours was done 3 months before mine. So did your car have a Certicard in it when you bought it, or are you the original owner? Looks like both cars were out of the St.Louis plant.

Good thing I already had this decoded!

A friend was helping with the car yesterday and asked why the fender tag was different from the doorpost tag. I was at a loss and didn't know the reason. Made me question if I had a car with two different sets of tags, stolen or whatever. So it's great to know that about the shipping order #...
Anyone care to decode this fender tag? I'm most interested in the middle line #' s and the 1 at the end of the first line. Also with the first 8 numbers in the bottom line and if that is a Q or 0 at the very end and what it means. Thank you.
Hey folks,
So I'm looking for the driver's side rocker molding for my 66 Satellite and I came across this ad:
"I want to buy the passenger side lower rocker trim and rear lower quarter trim for 1966 Satellite "RP23". I appreciate any leads on these items, thanks."
Anyway, there was one...
