What's it Worth 2 early 392 Hemi's plus extras - what are they worth ?

A few years back, a 57-58 392 core would have brought $3000-$3500. Now that is the going rate for a running engine. Cores these days (around here anyway) are $1500 to $2500 depending on if they are stuck or not.

    Oil Pump Prime Procedure

Maybe I missed it but I didn't see it mentioned yet...always give the crankshaft a couple of slow rotations while priming. Otherwise you likely get no oil to the top end.

Help me identify these B/RB Pulleys

These pulleys were on my rebuilt 74 RV 440 when I bought it in 2012. I recently learned they are not correct for a car with AC and PS. The engine used 3 belts with this configuration. The water pump pulley is a single groove 6 7/8" x 2 11/16". It apparently is for a non-AC car. The crank...

Something happened after leaving a car show.

The course I was a member at starting in '97 is locally known as the "Goat Track" - because of the rough rough, and trees along with other obstacles. I used to be quite good at recovering from awkward places - I was always spraying balls across two or three fairways. I played some really good...

Something happened after leaving a car show.

I remember a round we had, rain was approaching, and I took a quick water break at the turn. The group in front made a full stop, and we wasted no time headed to the tee box. The group in front had teed off and a we soon followed them, but before we drove away the group who had stopped and we...

    So who's into tractors

It's funny how I remember the brand loyalists in our area. Our county was full of small dairy farms, and each farmer would never own or even use a tractor which wasn't his brand. You were either green, red, or blue, nothing else. There were a few outliers using Masseys or AC'S but very few. I've...
