    Ring and Pinion set identification.

    I am trying to determine how to tell if a ring and pinion are a set. Not the ratio but if they belong together as a set. I have a Dana 60 4.10 ring and pinion a customer wants me to set up but it has some odd wear marks. I checked the serial numbers on them and they are about 3000 numbers apart...
