Who has dared to drive across country in a classic Mopar?

I've driven my 68 Sport Satellite from San Jose to LA round trip twice. (1000+ miles RT). Caravan'd with 3 other Mopars from FBBO and FABO. No issues 1st trips. 2nd trip a strange tat-tat-tat sound cropped up about an hour into the drive. Roadside trouble-shooting with the other 3 looking on...

Mopar Alley Car Show, Cupertino, CA, June 10th (Saturday) at DeAnza College

I wasn't free this weekend and have been attending Mopar Alley annually since about 2008 as I'm local. However, since the Mopar Alley event typically takes place in June and this year after the reorg was in July, it would have been nice if this year had better advertising on the show date...

Have you tried using ChatGPT ?

I haven't used it, but I've seen some videos of people using it to virtually stage home interiors for real estate as well as create outdoor home design renderings that looked pretty awesome. The examples I saw showed a step by step process where they rendered 10 consecutive modified revisions...

    Rich kid cars.

I only remember there being 3 semi-well off kids in my high school, not really rich, but not lacking for nice clothes or transport. None of the 3 acted like they were rich. They were down to earth and were friends with most everybody. I graduated class of '89 in a northern CA east bay SF Bay...

    Brake issues

As Ron H says, did you bleed the MC? If so, all should in theory be working correctly. The 1-1/8" MC should be fine - same as my car, except I'm running a Raybestos Blue. After installing MC and booster, did you set the MC pushrod gap to .050"?

    Brake issues

New booster is the way. I went through this on my car. Also running Wilwood front disc, stock rear drum. I tried 15/16" MC and 1-1/8" MC. The 15/16" had the pedal travel too low to the floor. Once I got the correct booster (8" dual diaphragm as posted above), with the 1-1/8" MC, pedal travel...

Easy outs is what I first thought of and was wondering why it took so long for someone to mention. Not all of us have welders on hand (but we should...)

Clearance issues with 7 blade "hemi" clutch fan and my radiator. Need another fan choice.

Ah, thanks. I forgot he was replacing the radiator at the same time. Not replacing rad at same time, not fun.

Clearance issues with 7 blade "hemi" clutch fan and my radiator. Need another fan choice.

OP - glad you got it sorted. I know what a relief it can be to finally get something to fit and work as planned. Where did you source the radiator, fan with clutch, and shroud? Can you please remind us what vehicle this was installed in? Different cars have different clearances, especially up...

Clearance issues with 7 blade "hemi" clutch fan and my radiator. Need another fan choice.

"Easy..." hahaha I've done a few of these on my motor with just that method. The non-easy part with a tight clearance radiator/fan clutch combo is getting the bolts lined up and in with the radiator in the way! One trick I do is use a shortened wooden chopstick or dowel in one of the holes to...

Mopar Action Oct 2021 article re: swapping b body sway bar links with those from a recent Pford pickup for improved handling.

yeah, my car is 1968 so I would be able to use without shortening. You've reported good longevity, which is awesome. I would also like to hear long term reports from others as well since I'm seeing some early wear issues reported in online reviews.

great to hear that some have had thousands of trouble-free miles after installing these. However, I'm seeing a few reviews such as this that give me pause: Reviewed in Canada on January 11, 2020 Verified Purchase These parts parts failed within a few months had to go back to OEM save ur money>...
