Working on the Big Island of Hawaii today. Got off the plane this morning in Kona, VOG was a little thick. Took a couple pics while driving up to Kamuela. Sky all hazy. Reminded me that this thread was started by @63SPF talking about the VOG.

Hi, does anyone know what this sump is? It is aluminum and fits engines. It is some odd ball industrial application. Like a generator or water pump.

I have also place a thin piece of cloth in between to tighten it up.

I replaced mine a few years ago and YES they were very tough to get the stalk shafts inserted! I used emory cloth/fine sand paper to polish the shafts and even put grease on them and really had to force them on. They're stiil very tight to flip up and down, need 2 hands and have to rotate near...

Do you know the bore size of the master cylinder? The smaller the bore, the more travel it requires to displace the same amount of fluid. I think B-Body power disc brake master cylinder bores are around 1" - 1.125". How far is the pedal from the floor to start with? Is the brake booster pushrod...
