I replaced the entire fuel system on my 67 Coronet, Tank, Vent lines, Sending unit, Lines, Pump, Filter as I found the entire system had been clogged with rust.
The gas gauge never worked and the sender was rusted solid, when I replaced the sending unit the gas gauge worked for...
