My drivers seat has pretty weak springs though.. it was redone years ago (was DVW's kids seat) and you can put rods sideways across the springs to firm it up, i plan to do it over winter.. praying i can get the seat cover off without ruining it..

yeah... a bench seat and pushbutton were what i had to keep.. also why i went small block which i kinda love, my first one after a lot of big blocks. I do have a spare BB trans case here though if i wanna swap eventually
HP meant that that engine was obviously in a higher horse power car. So it had all the extra goodies. Hence, most likely driven a little more robustly. Someone might want to have a HP block to go with their R/T, GTX, L Charger, Sport Fury, Sport Fury GT, Monaco 500 applicable Chrysler.

So supposedly they were a popular mod back in the day. I was told the original owner liked the 68 lights so much that he went to the dealer in 68 to have them installed. They were not original to the car. When I had the car repainted I took them out.
Working on the Big Island of Hawaii today. Got off the plane this morning in Kona, VOG was a little thick. Took a couple pics while driving up to Kamuela. Sky all hazy. Reminded me that this thread was started by @63SPF talking about the VOG.
I replaced mine a few years ago and YES they were very tough to get the stalk shafts inserted! I used emory cloth/fine sand paper to polish the shafts and even put grease on them and really had to force them on. They're stiil very tight to flip up and down, need 2 hands and have to rotate near...
