    Torq Thrust Wheel History

I agree, especially for that era. I however mounted some 17x10 5 spoke polished/gloss black Mustang TT knock offs on my daily driver Tacoma and I was pleasantly surprised how it stepped up the look besides the better handling.

    727 rebuild at home

A decent spreader pliers for the tailshaft snap ring is handy. I used a couple of c clamps for compressing stuff. I did my first one last winter. This site is a great resource.

Well, yet another kick in the crotch this evening. Took my wife out to eat to show off the ac functioning in the coronet and the new suspension, gauges, etc. Well, cruising down the highway, the temp gauge is creeping up past half way. I glance down at the holley screen and 216! Holy crapola! I...

    Oil Pump Prime Procedure

You probably should have opened up the pump and verified that the clearances are in spec. That would have also been the perfect opportunity to “prime” the pump with assembly lube. It sucks not knowing the history of the car, it could be just plain worn out or some ham handed mechanic screwed...

Cooling issues 69 RR 440 at wits end!

No use in telling the people the truth. As I have mentioned before, Chrysler would have gone bankrupt in the 50’s or 60’s if that was a poor design.

Will do. The 65 is already set for it, got the engine that way from Indy. The wagon will get it in the future but only after I redo the electrical from stem to stern. I picked up a Street Dominator that I'll get bungs put into and rails to match. I'm thinking about getting a distributor from a...

    727 rebuild at home

Im a very handy guy and I need to pull my trans this winter and rebuild it. I have no issue following directions or the service manual but my big concern is, am I going to need any specialty trans specific tools to work on it?
