    “Misfire” at 2000+ rpm

    I once had a similar issue with a misfire. Tried everything under the sun to fix it. In the end, it was a crack in one of the cylinder walls. Had to sleeve the block.

    right, but the car doesn't drive right now and the cleanest part i've got is under the trunk lid. if it came down to it i'd bring the trunk lid down and have them scan it.
