    1968 Charger, Ray Barton 528 Hemi, Pro-touring.

I'm eager to get the custom "528 hemi" RT-stripe done but does anyone have a RT-stripe file for printing? Format should be either ".eps" or ".ai". The stripe has a bend in it that's difficult to calculate.

I think I sorted out the em.brake. I contributed to this issue by myself I believe.. I wanted the fuel and brake lines neatly running along the frame rail snd raised the em.brake bracket to run lines underneath. I should have done a sturdier bracket. What I did now was a bolted support bracket...

My daily driver 67 Coronet wagon

I like your approach to this, not throwing money away and figure out smart ways to get what you want. Very interresting to see.

Same in Sweden also, when a car turns 50 years you'll never need to do an inspection again, I just need to do one now since it's a newly registrered car. But with that said, I believe it would be a good idea to have a more simple mandatory check, brakes, lights, just the basic stuff to make sure...

Well, all sorted out, the speedo is now working, turns out it works a lot better if you actually install a speedo pinion before installing the speedo cable! Embarrassing, I know.. I calculated I needed a 32-pin pinion and luckily my dad found one during a treasure hunt in the garage shelves. I...

Thanks, the stripe was a trial, waiting for the real one. Going to give it a polish first.

Thanks for the input. Can you elaborate on the "speedo pinion adapter"? Could you send me a link to some info maybe? Good ground at the sender, I was aware of this issue from others and was very thorough when doing that part.

So, finally got my car registered. Been doing some shakedown drives lately to sort out some bugs. The speedometer doesn't work? It reacts on the bench when I twist a screwdriver where the wire goes but maybe something is off in the gearbox or the cable is broken? Some wiring issues still, the...

    Charger build discussion

I'm running 1.12bars, Borgesson, QA1 adjustable UCA's, QA1 adjustable push rods, QA1 steering rods with my own tweak to get rid of bump steer. It runs like a new car on the road, love it. I think the key components are the adjustable UCA's and my tweak to get rid of bumpsteer. I set my...

    The Willomet Charger

    1968 Charger, Ray Barton 528 Hemi, Pro-touring.

Finally had som time over the holidays to work on the weels. 275 in th front and 315 in the rear. The rear rims have been widened with 1,5"(42mm) to 11,5. The fronts are 10". To mount the hubcaps i found some steel clips from a VW beetle, 60s that seemed to fit and I got lucky. They fit great...

So what else is going on, my dad had a momentary lapse of reason and bought a new project, a Ford Mustang 1967 Fastback! He's 72 years old now but still going strong, I hope I can follow his footsteps. Will I be banned for posting these pictures? It came without engine, it's an old Pro street...

Still no plates but I've moved it(actually drove it!) to my little garage at home to finalize the last bits like interior door panels and the sound system. We did a quite big home improvement and the garage has been filled up with all kinds of stuff for a while but now it's finally cleared out...

It's Alive! Did my first testrun just now, although only first gear.. Some kinks here and there to sort out but I'm very close to get it roadworthy and get those license plates on it.

So, still haven't touched the poor old Charger but I finally received parts from overseas. Ordered rims, tires and some other stuff almost two years ago. The container got stuck in Florida due to the recent years of transport chaos but it finally arrived. I'm hoping this will get my motivation...
