Pearls of wisdom from your dad.

When I was younger and chasing the girls. He once told me. ”Son the f*+>ing you’re getting now is nothing like the f#%<ing you’re going to get.” I thought wow that will be amazing! I later learned what he truly meant.

Pearls of wisdom from your dad.

Do it right the first time. A man without a pair of pliers ain't worth squat. Judge yourself. Mine is a contractor. He's calmed down quite a bit with time. However, when I was younger, if someone else did something wrong, I was the one that got yelled at. Now he calls me to help him out to...

Mine always told me whenever I was working on something to wear safety glasses. “You only get one chance with your eyes, protect them, wear your safety glasses.”

Pearls of wisdom from your dad.

My dear-departed dad was one calm guy. Always kept his cool. His words of wisdom he had occasions to mention to me: “If you lose your temper, you’ve lost.” If something went wrong “Always look at the simple stuff first.” "If you won't do it right, don't do it." (He was a perfectionist and it...

    Another Interesting Tidbit

That was awesome, and a bit stupid. I expect Big Daddy has little hearing left after all those years driving Swamp rats, but what about all the others INSIDE the garage, and he was the only one wearing hearing protection?:cursin:

Do I really have to remove the pan?

Or you could drop the pan, replace the filter, fix the leak, and replace the pan with one with a drain plug. This will be one of those nagging problems that will bug the **** out you until you fix it correctly. Nothing worse than seeing fluid leaks under your car. It’s a simple fix, just bite...

post your stock appearing class car

So my pitiful brain for high performance says all that remains to make power and cut great times are: Porting and polishing... Balancing and lightinig parts w/out making them weak... High compression, FWIW Genius-level cam design to make the most out of the bolded parts-which are a limiting...

Could someone explain how air shocks work to a newbie? And possibly how to adjust them?

You just need to replace the schrader valve with 2 single schrader valves. Problem solved.

Changing my first fuel filter as a rookie. Would like any tips you might have

Your PCV and Breather need to be hooked up and functioning properly. As minor as that may seem, it’s very important to have your car running correctly, and if they are not hooked up correctly and causing vacuum leaks than those leaks could be the source of all your problems. Check those things...

Could someone explain how air shocks work to a newbie? And possibly how to adjust them?

I had never seen an air shock line kit that didn't have both lines come together in a "T" fitting with a single Schrader valve to fill them. I had heard of people having individual fill air shocks, always seemed like it would be a good idea, but I couldn't picture how to eliminate the "T"...
