I've always lightly heated then Vasolined the bushing then used a socket with a vise or vise grips to persuade the arm over the bushing. Just go slow. Maybe it was already mentioned, remove the whole assembly and replace those end bushings as well. Dorman p/n 49440. Advance carries them. Hope...

I had a chance, some years back, to buy an E58 Magnum GT w/moonroof, which is the lowest production engine in a Magnum in '78, much more common in '79. Only 191 were built in '78. 345 "P's" were built in '78. ( That's Magnums )

Harder to find, but the 75-79 B body cop cars will have the heavier parts, ( if there is any difference ). I will try to remember to check Monday to see if Advance has or can get them ( I work there part-time ) I can at least get a Moog or Driveworks part #
