Eyeballing it, looks to point right toward where someone's lap would be in the car, and the outward trajectory puts it right through the rectangular opening where the brake line would pass through.
For a separate antenna, or stock? Mine has the stock antenna cable routed the regular way...
So to summarize so far: I took off fan and fan clutch, removed my exhaust and starter (since bell housing g will be coming off.). I used a friends Harbor Freight scissors jack with a board on top. Ratchet strapped trans to jack, and the took out cross member and trans to bell housing bolts I...
Surely, someone around Springfield on Facebook Marketplace has some cheap tires and rims.
Go get some tires/spares off of a 1992-2011 Crown Victoria, or any other 5 on 4.5" auto.

Thank you for the help, just took out trans, like you suggested. I’ll be removing and modifying shifter bracket as well after a get it off this weekend.
Looks like you wedged a screwdriver in there. It possible that doing that ruined the gasket. Try r and r on the carb and tighten the screws. Costs nothing to try.
I'll pop it off tomorrow. Wouldn't think they could loosen, unless they're above the intake. Should probably rebuild it anyway, been on there a long time.
Thank you for the help as well. Yes, I took off fan and clutch, not running a shroud. Motor is just touching drag link and I have a jack and wood blocks just rear of drag link supporting pan/engine as well.
Just touching base with all of you. Thank you for the kind advice. Aluminum pad was not removed and came out like butter. Putting it in might be a different story. So I’ll probably remove it before I put it back in being that I stripped 2 of the Allen bolts anyways.
