Crazy what these are selling for these days no matter what year or applications. I had probably scrapped or given away 50+/- of various year air cleaners over the years back when aftermarket chrome everything was cool.
All of them. They were all built cheap and they were built fast to get them out the door, just like today but with style. However, I love all of them today because of their timeless classic looks and the old family and friends stories that came with them.
Love the physcedelic seat covers. I have some in my Roached Runner also since they are all ripped up, which is why I am getting your old covers from you. Thanks again for your gesture to donate.
I had a custom aluminum radiator with dual electric fans built for my Challenger that I added -20 weld bungs to. With over 2-1/2 times the horsepower over stock and it runs cooler than any of my more milder cars. I had it out cruisin around yesterday all day at 90 degree outside and it ran at...
It's close. My 70 Charger is a California car and has the N95 emissions and N97 noise reduction package (hood insulation) and it rubs the top of the air cleaner lid with factory dual fours street hemi inline carbs set up. Probably about 3/4" from the actual hood.

No one expected so many to last 50-60+ years and now have such value.
I missed...
I agree with you on the door scoops on 70 Charger R/T's. That is my least favorite thing about 70 R/T's. I own two 70 Chargers and do prefer them without. However, they have grown on me since one of them i have owned it 37 years now & the other almost 20 years.
If the breathers had that much debris in them. I would buy new breathers and replace them. That may even be some debris from them deteriorating internally. You don't want that going in your engine.
Just keep chipping away at it as you can, even if not for a full day on a Sunday. Unfortunately, with today's junk parts, tools and even equipment, I find myself having to do things sometimes twice more and more often which always makes everything more frustrating.
