The kickdown is is full back at full throttle. The kickdown valve had about .175 clearance between the lever and valve.

The noise starts at 2500. I thought about putting the heavier trick flow springs back on and trying them. The trick flows are about 60lbs heavier installed and 50lbs heavier open.

So what I'm getting from all of this is. My valvetrain is not happy and the geometry while not perfect is not the cause. Any ideas on what it could be? Could it be an issue with the rockers?

I wont argue the diminished lighting capabilities of the yellow lights. I just like the look, I rarely if ever use high beams even on my modern cars. I do have regular bulbs I run also.

I used these from octane lighting. They don't fit the headlight buckets as well as I would like. But they are glass. There about $100 for the set of 4.
