If you can let it go, I would like to purchase the correct hemi alternator for a 1965 A990 with the original pulley. Prefer late 64 or very early 65 date. Thanks for the help on this one.

A great alternator and starter rebuilding service is Almost NOS in WI. They restore alternators and starters for gold certified cars and they have always been spot on.

So the number on the flat pad could have been the 830 or the 860 for the A990 cars?

What was the correct part # for the 65 A990 alternator? 2098830 or 2098860 or both were used? The cars were produced between Nov. 64 and Jan. 65 based on what I have read. Anyone have one that is correct for sale along with the original pulley?
