Not quite, but close.
In the pilot, he drove a Ferrari, first couple seasons a Tiger, fitted out like James Bond's Aston Martin. Then an Opel GT, and a Karmann Ghia, I don't recall the order of the last two.
I was always disappointed by "The Saint's" choice. A Volvo? Really?
Edit. Thinking about...
I'm gonna cut a hole in the trunk I can drive a truck thru. The last time I did that (the car I threw away) I didn't cut a big enough hole to be convenient. Not gonna make that mistake again.
Wow! AR was using "offset" that far back? I am surprised!
The pair of Ansens I have could easily be mistaken for TT's, except for cast-in info on the back, just like those Americans.
Amazing.
I've got a 62, and a set of polished TT's for it, with new slicks... and a set of 200s's and a pair of Ansen five spokes (mentioned in the article) in the
to-be-restored pile as well.
I'm a huge fan of daisies, since two lane blacktop.
I think it's worth more than that, to a guy with a Sixpack in a non-sixpack car, who wants an aircleaner but doesn't need a specific high dollar piece.
Some gear sets are just garbage, no matter how well they are set up.
But my friend who owned a rearend shop (street cars and race cars) refused to use synthetic gear oil. Would not offer ANY warrantee if the customer insisted. Used Torco Dino oil by the 55 gallon drum.
Before I did anything...
I would look into taking the tailpipe over the rear, and then side exit behind the rear tires. Gotta go between frame and spring? Been done!
But I agree with 6pkrtse, it's probably not your tailpipes causing the problem. It's probably a garbage in-tank pump. I DESPISE in-tank pumps, and no car...
Theoretically, 255s will be just under an inch wider in section. Turn your fronts lock to lock see if you have clearance for a half inch more tire in both directions.
And the 4 1/4" on your wheels is backspace. Offset is a WHOLE different thing.
P.S. love the daisies!
I don't think so. His helmet is off, and i think hes cuffed. (if he's dead, who'd bother?) and if that cat is like mine, it's looking for warmth, not cold meat.
Oh, I understood. Recently had to put new tires and wheels on my cheap old open trailer. More than four hundred just for the tires, (chinese too!) and another two hundred plus for the wheels. And those were the best prices I could find for what I wanted. I was quoted $750 out the door for tires...
NOTHING is easy at a california dmv!!!.
Make a dmv appointment, ask them FIRST about a title before you do anything regarding the Fury. (I assume it's a non-california car?) Nightmare potentially coming!
And you're considering buying a car not local to you, off of PICTURES?!?
