It is not fire soot, it seems the car was greased with motor oil when it was parked, it has been cleaned and the paint is surprisingly good for its age. When the car gets back I will post fresh pictures of everything.

Just got it running, the odometer says 15k , I believe that is the original mileage. The engine runs better than new. It had original carb, original master (inboard), original calipers & rotors. The car is a true survivor. I will post pictures of the motor soon. I will not be restoring this car...
