    727 Truck Trans VS 727 HP trans differences

    I just picked up a 727 core from a 1978 Truck and am wondering if anyone knows the good, bad, and ugly on the innards? Couldn't pass on the price of $150.00. I plan on shelving it and s-l-o-w-l-y getting parts for it. So, what's different between a 79 truck trans and an HP trans? Thanks Guys!

    Mopar Head Gasket mod and direction?

    Hello All, Got a pair of these P4349559 Mopar Performance head gaskets and wonder which side goes towards the block???? Also, This is a 68 engine and wonder if I can enlarge the three "slits in the head gaskets so they're round and match the ports in the block and heads without screwing things...
