While a 26 would be better, especially if you have the core support for it. It’s not absolutely necessary. My dad had a ‘68 Polara with a 383. It had a 22” 2-core radiator that did ok, then he added aftermarket A/C. Later he bought a 19’ Prowler travel trailer. Then the cooling system couldn’t...
If you find a hood ornament and need to replace the engine call out your might want to try to get the embossed engine call out and not the plane decal if you can find any. I got mine from Joe Suchy and he may still have some for a 383 in fact he might also have a hood ornament too.
I would look into taking the tailpipe over the rear, and then side exit behind the rear tires. Gotta go between frame and spring? Been done!
But I agree with 6pkrtse, it's probably not your tailpipes causing the problem. It's probably a garbage in-tank pump. I DESPISE in-tank pumps, and no car...
Yukon, NWT, Nunavut, is a staggery large chunk of land.
Few people live up there. Many places are only accessible by plane, or dog sled in the winter. Mostly float planes.
The landing strip on the road to Inuvat, is a flat part of the main road to it. Weird to see the signs indicating a landing...
I've been thinking about trying some kind of water based solvent just as you said because it is easily disposable. I can get rid of the TS stuff at the local recycle center for now but I think this will probably go away in the near future. Any tips on how you heated it?
Congrats that you made the goal of retiring before expiring! I know too many guys that sadly didn’t make it. I’m about 3 months out, then it’s time to get all these projects done. Enjoy your retirement!
I'm with KD here for sure because bumpers are a major cost now a days. Just get a scissors jack and weld a bigger base on it. And like MARPAR said get a socket and cordless impact to run the jack and change your tire. My old camper had scissor jack stabilizers mounted on the back so I got a HF...
I use flash solvent 142. It has a higher flash point that mineral spirits. I have had this same solvent in my parts washing tank for over 30 years, never changed it. Still works as good as new. It is dirty. I just scrape the thick goop off of the bottom once in a while. To get the dirty residue...
Hello,
I am looking for a 1970 Mopar Dana 60 B-body. This will specifically be for a Plymouth Roadrunner.
My car originally had a 383 with the 8 3/4 rear end but was swapped for a 440+6.
Thanks,
Drew
