Welcome... I guess. "Won't turn over" ok.... turn the key and... WHAT HAPPENS ? Engine locked ? Cranks but no fire ? My question is: Do you have heat saturation in the starter cable ?
AR67GTX - I couldn't have explained my old issue any better. You're experiencing EXACTLY what I did. Then I removed the OC spring and HOLY SH*T, the pedal is a bitch to press. Wished I left it in there.
1 Wild R/T - Very well explained. Thank you. When I read "Some diaphragm clutches are...
A tip. Check your repair the next day. Maybe check tightness tension. Don't hesitate to ask for advice. The only dumb question is the one not asked. Get a FSM, it will give you diagrams of all you need to know.
Update:
Have not had alot of time to work on the HENRY'S Dart. Made some time today. Car would crank if the starter relay was jumped. But not with the key. Pulled the yellow wire off the starter relay and the wire fell out of the connector. Put a new connector on, and still no 12v to to starter...

Also part of the test was a Mopar dual snorkel. With one...
Mymopar.com has links to the factory wiring diagrams. I think based off your drawing, the spooky connector goes to the map light itself. The other connector would be for the ignition light time delay capacitor, it’s not a relay.
Thanks all! I went with the metal one (though it seemed much more loose in the hoses because it was smaller in diameter than the one I took out but the hose clamps did the trick).
Appreciate the tip to have a little bucket underneath it so I didn’t spill gasoline all over the valve covers. Now...
I think I know the problem but am interested if anyone else ran into this. Fresh rebuild runs great starts cold great, hot won't turn over, huge battery cable new 1000 cold crank battery, new high torque mini starter, still a problem, 14 degree advance, 35 overall, 10.5 compression. Here's what...
