Maybe the manufacturers have decided to remove the idiot factor because of the high number of returns from inexperienced people incorrectly bench-bleeding their products. Making it just a bolt-on part takes away the chances of destroying the Master Cylinder. Just my opinion of course.

The reason people remove the over center spring is with a diaphragm pressure plate it taks so much less effort to release the clutch that the over center spring can cause the pedal to remain on the floor... Or at least to not fully engage...

It dosent vacuum. It's glue...stuck to the floor..originally installed to keep the Jute padding and carpet in place during interior assembly. So it's kinda sticky..and stinky. Plus the Killmat won't stick to it well. So I need to clean it up.
