I worked my last Friday ever

Congratulations @Black_Sheep. Another 3 years, 64 days and the rest of day before I become eligible. We'll see what it looks like when I get there, before I pull the trigger. But I'm glad it'll be an option. Folks in my circle who are retired say they don't know how they ever had time to work...

    727 rebuild at home

I hope it goes well, it's great feeling when you fire it up finally and it works :) BTW.. i bought these for getting the snap ring off the tailshaft bearing.. can do it with screw drivers, but this was just much easier.. could probably also use them for the drum clip shown above.. Craigslist

I used to use ebay years ago before CL arrived. Ebay got crappier to work with and resolve problems. Add shipping costs had me absorbing more of that and offering free shipping for a while. That was a losing model, so more stuff gets donated or taken to the recycler. I no longer use ebay. CL, I...

    Oil pressure sending unit source

Oil pressure gauge sending units have such a varied price range. Is this a true example of ‘get what you pay for’. Or is manufacturer more important for accurate readout? NOS could be fine but not critical. Thanks! :thankyou:

it's the original, it's perfect...... underneath the 12 years of dirt I call it a bumper filler, others may refer to it as a grille support; a valence would be under the bumper :poke:

    67 coronet power steering box

So, seal expander wont fix that leak. Your issue is a leaking copper washer, similar to whats used on brake hose ends, only bigger. I was able to get one apart by just bopping the wrench with a dead blow...once. Maybe someone worked on yours with some hardening type of goop??

As long as they used hardner, if it was a repaint. I've found a couple that didn't! It's definitely dark outside. I get too many bugs in the shop this time of year if I have the door open. Great progress

    Best oil for 440.....

I'm a little surprised no one commented on where the 440 from a 66 Coronet came from. There were no 440's installed from the factory in a B body in 66.
