Do I really have to remove the pan?

There really was no fluid when I brought the car home. I had to add 8 quarts of fluid. So, it's full of fresh fluid.

Do I really have to remove the pan?

funny you should say that, as I was writing my post, I was thinking if that would help. I was thinking of just lowering the jackstands as far as I can.

Do I really have to remove the pan?

Looks like I have a nice puddle under my Charger that I haven't had the pleasure of driving yet. It looks like it the dipstick tube seal. Do I really have to drop the pan, or can I just catch whatever fluid drops? The car is up on jackstands, so working on it isn't so bad, I just don't want to...

I kinda figured that too, I didn’t think it would start with ballast receptor in.

    Relay for ignition.

I put in the 0.6 ohm flamethrower coil today. I jumped out the ballast resistor and the car ran fine. So, I tried to run it with the ballast resistor hooked up, and the car ran fine. :wtf: I thought these coils would only work without a ballast resistor.

Thanks. I reached out to them, they told me they are long gone and can’t get them anymore. So I tried M&D Electric. I know it’s a long shot, but what the hell.

Anyone know where I could get this?

I'm wondering if I could get a replacement plug for where the engine harness plugs into the forward light harness. The harness's are in good shape and I wouldn't want to replace the whole harness.

    Relay for ignition.

Well, for something like that, I would need another fuse box with relays built in, No? The relay I want to put, would only be for the ignition.

What did I do wrong here (HEI Conversion)

I'm going almost the same thing. I have a pertronix II and I called them about what coil to use. First, they told me to use a 1.5-ohm coil, I bought one and called them again and was told I need a .06-ohm coil. So, I bought a 45111. I'm going to try using a relay to circumvent ballast resistor...

    Relay for ignition.

I have a Pertronix II distributor in my 67 Charger with a 383. When I bought the car, to get it running we used a coil from Advance Auto that's for points. I have to upgrade to Pertronix flamethrower coil for this setup. I was looking into using a relay as I cannot use the ballast resistor with...
