Hi All, great thread. I especially didn't realize 'Sport' Mirrors were available on a 70 B-body? I'm seriously considering these for mine. Does anyone have any guidance on how to add the remote left mirror parts on the inside of the door panel? Is it just a hole through the door fiber board? Thx
I think you’re right. I’ll check once I’m home from work but the two I received from Rockauto were both 5/16. I didn’t see any options for 3/8 size under what fit the 440 on their website.
Is there a 3/8 that will fit it? I wasn’t sure if I could deviate from what fits the car even though...
My 70 Charger with painted sport mirrors. Not all exterior colors were available with painted. Some exterior colors were chrome only..not painted. The 70 Charger registry has a bulletin with the color options.
Captain Obvious here! Yes they do. Cardboard saves weight over wood and the Styrofoam keeps it safe.
Make a box out of cardboard, double it up, wrap the trans in plastic, set it on a piece of 2x4, fill the box with spray foam, leave open for expansion.
When it dries, cut foam in half...
It seems I see dog dishes or Rallyes on 90% of the Mopars nowadays or if not Ford style Magnums. C`mon guys be different instead of copying everyone else! What happened to variety, uniqueness and being different than the crowd? There are some cars that Rallyes and even dog dishes fit and look...
Now, see to me, that car looks off with those wheels and caps. I don’t know if it’s because they are aftermarket and a little deeper, or it’s the color, which is too much IMO. Either way, I’m not a fan of this one, although I do prefer Roadrunners.
