The mirror should be mounted farther forward . Should be viewed through the vent window. This may be your adjustment issue. Plus, they are noisy when located back like that. My '69 Darts mirror, drivers side is viewed through the vent, and it is quiet when driving. I installed a passenger...
I love the new daisies in 17" sizes, (the GRAY ones please, or polished! No chrome!)but man, are they expensive! At least double the price of tt's in comparable sizes.

That's most likely the Brake Light Warning switch connector. It hooks to the brake light warning light on your dash cluster at the bottom left and lights if the system loses pressure.

Dan, thanks, I'll take a look for the holes. Not sure how I would get a staple in there or where I would even go for such a staple. Point me in the right direction and I can bend anything with pliers and a vise.

I just noticed a loose wire with a connector hanging down near where all the brake lines connect
looks like there is a place to plug the wire into . anybody know much about the switch
Bought a 12 pack of Moosehead beer this morning.
